Operations & Account Coordinator (Full Time, Entry / Mid-Level)

As the Operations and Account Coordinator at CASTUS you will be responsible for overseeing key aspects of CASTUS operations as well as assisting with New Business Development and supporting Key Accounts. Ideal candidates will have a dynamic personality with interests in operations, sales & marketing, and account management. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Operations

  • Evaluate inventory of physical resources including office space and supplies

  • Track vendor pricing, rebates, and service levels

  • Analyze resource requirements based on day-to-day and specific project needs of CASTUS

  • Assess need for additional labor and engage potential service providers as needed

  • Analyze and optimize quality and cost following project completions

Marketing:

  • Be the primary point of contact for key vendors to CASTUS (ex. third-party marketing team)

  • Establish best practices related to the promotion of CASTUS through marketing channels such as social media and traditional mediums

Business Development

  • Help to define and optimize the CASTUS product offering

  • Support CASTUS Business Development goals and contribute new ideas by:

    • Identifying ideal clients for the CASTUS executive team to contact and / or target

    • Attending networking events on behalf of CASTUS and promoting the business

  • Support CASTUS key accounts by:

    • Learning account management strategy alongside CASTUS Key Account Manager(s)

    • Complete day-to-day account management tasks as assigned and identified

  • Support CASTUS project work by:

    • Identifying, pitching, and closing new project-based work

    • Managing outsourced content and data gathering requirements

  • Increase industry knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations

  • Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) as established and redefined from time to time.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned, from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • At least one year of previous experience required

  • Ability to travel when needed (not expected to be more than 20% of the time).

  • Must have exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)

  • Must have sales experience opening new accounts and “cold calling”

  • Must have a proven track record of successful client service and account management

  • Must have strong ability to develop “pitch materials” and present to prospects

  • Should have negotiation skills and a desire to strengthen them

  • Should have proven methods for developing strategic growth plans and measuring results


Sales Representative (remote, part-time)

As a Sales Representative you will be responsible for supporting CASTUS partners' business development with a variety of retail partners. Through a measured and strategic approach, CASTUS identifies targeted retailers in the global retail market that best meet our partner's business development priorities. The Sales Representative will act on behalf of CASTUS partners, and will be responsible for developing pitch materials, engaging with prospective buyers, closing sales, and managing new account needs. Candidates will be expected to manage accounts across multiple geographies and industries when necessary.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Establish relationships with new accounts across a variety of retail channels

  • Serve as main point of contact for accounts on behalf of CASTUS partners

  • Manage multiple accounts (potentially in varying industries)

  • Close new lines of business and grow current lines of business through a strategic plan, outlined in collaboration with CASTUS management and our partners

  • Assess goals and optimize strategy to achieve maximum opportunity for partners

  • Develop pitch materials and present products to potential retail outlets

  • Negotiate competitive pricing structure for partners to maximize profits

  • Plan and negotiate retailer programs on behalf of partners, including merchandising, marketing, and advertising opportunities

  • Analyze and report sell through information at the customer level

  • Forecast anticipated sales for partners, by product and retailer

  • Establish strategic account goals for each partner on a quarterly basis

  • Support retail accounts in a variety of ways including but not limited to item setup, maintenance, demand planning and order processing

  • Other responsibilities as assigned from time to time

Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time is non-negotiable. Must be available for international travel as needed

  • Must have exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)

  • Must have sales experience opening new accounts and “cold calling”

  • Must have a proven track record of successful client service and account management

  • Must have strong ability to develop “pitch materials” and present to prospects

  • Should have strong negotiation skills

  • Should have proven methods for developing strategic growth plans and measuring results

  • Experience in juvenile industry preferred

  • Experience in US and International sales preferred

Other:

  • This is a 1099, Contractor position

  • Compensation is commensurate with experience and results

  • CASTUS will reimburse a portion of your cell phone monthly

  • Travel expenses on behalf of CASTUS will be reimbursed monthly
